This delightful little 0-4-0 now named Mountaineer, originally Sarah Louis, was built in Germany in 1970 by Wiilheim Van Den Heiden for a light railway in a park in Beekbergan in the Netherlands, in 1985 it was sold to the Bush Mills Railway in Tasmania where it was rebuilt in 1993 with a larger boiler and bored out cylinders.
The BMR closed in 2004 and Mountaineer together with all the coaching stock and a small diesel locomotive was purchased in 2006 for the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway,England where it happily runs today.
