Open Day 1

Post by Chris Janisch »

The first FOTR Open Day at Hermanstad has come and gone. And what a great success it was!
The hard work and planning by the EXCO came to fruition on a warm and sunny mid-winter's day in Pretoria. Live music, pony rides, jumping castle, face painting, wors rolls, train rides, exhibits to explore- and then a smooth Tshwane Explorer with views of the Gautrain- what more could the public want? Our decision to can Cullinan and concentrate on this formula has been proven correct, I believe.
Trainman was of course in his element in his neat little guard's suit....

My children Georgia and Warren took control of the pony rides. Main star was Savanna, our pony who did over 30 journeys!
